Robert-Jan te Rijdt has kindly confirmed the attribution to Jan Goeree and supposes that the drawing was for the Roman part of the Thesaurus antiquitatum graecarum et romanarum (in 39 vols.; 1694-1716) or for the Thesaurus antiquitatum et historiarum Italiae (in 30 vols.; 1704-1723)
